The Details!

Materials: You’ll squeal when you see what we’re sending you!  A BIG BOX full of Cricut & crafty goodness is getting delivered right to your door! You will receive everything you need to make all of the projects. Yes, you read that right. We’re talking new mats, vinyl, tool kits…. ALL. THE. STUFF! (it’s a $575 value just in the box!)  All you need is your Cricut! (full size models for the main classes, compatible with Cricut Design Space, ie Explore/Maker models)

Date: Sept 24, 25, 26, 2021. 

Time: Opening Ceremonies begin 7pm Friday night & Closing ceremonies will be Sunday night. Full Schedule to come! It’s going to be packed and you’re going to be blown away!

MAKE IT A FAMIILY WEEKEND! Opt into the Kids Class so the whole family can dig into the creativity & supplies just for them!

Note: You do need your own full size Cricut cutting machine compatible with Cricut Design Space for the event.   There are also additional ADD-ON Classes offered on SUNDAY if you want to use some different machines to their fullest, like the Cricut Maker & the Cricut Joy.  Please make sure you have those machines if you’re choosing to add those classes!

Learn to Make Earrings!

Using Wood Veneer

These sweet earrings would make a wonderful gift, but we promise you may be tempted to keep them for yourself. You’ll be getting enough supplies to make earrings for everyone! The combination of wood and copper and silver are gorgeous. Now is your chance to be guided step by step using these unique materials.  In your box you’re getting, a fresh Cricut Cutting mat, the Cricut Deep Blade, Wood Veneer – maple & walnut, all jewelry making supplies, full rolls of Cricut Foil Adhesive & more. 

Apron Class - Take any image, Make Cut File

Using Heat Transfer Vinyl

In this class, you’ll learn how to take an image and prepare it so that your Cricut can cut it, and we’ll show you how to use layers, so you can get multiple colours in your Heat Transfer Vinyl cuts!  You’ll be applying this still to customize so many future Iron-on projects! We’ll make an apron that we can wear together all weekend long while we are crafting and for many crafty years to come! In your box you’ll be getting a ready made apron perfect for HTV, five full sized rolls of Cricut Everyday Vinyl and you’ll want to use your new weeding tool kit, included in your box!


Using the Foil Transfer Tool

Design your own custom cards using foil. You will learn how to get a professional level foil effect that lasts! These cards are going to pop. Yes, you’ll be receiving the full Cricut Foil Transfer Kit in your box!  Keep these cards for your own stash or put together a gift box of blank foiled cards as a gift! You’ll have everything you need to keep foiling into the future! In your box you’re getting the full Cricut Foil Transfer Kit, Smooth White cardstock, full package of Cricut Foil Transfer Sheets, the Cricut Scoring Stylus & various adhesives.

Using Infusible Ink

Custom ordered pillows can be so pricey, so what do makers do? We make our own!

Using Cricut’s Infusible Ink Transfer sheets we are going to show you how to add your personal style to your home by customizing a throw pillow. Unlike iron-on transfers, infusible ink transfers become a part of the fabric, making this pillow one you can actually put on your couch! No one will believe you made this yourself!  In your box you’re getting a full Cricut blank pillow cover, a Full down filled pillow form, a full sized roll of Cricut Infusible Ink.

You can make pretty much anything adorable when you slap a cute little face on it! In this class, we will walk you through the steps of adding adorable vinyl faces to cute planters. Give your planter personality with this Cricut craft and have a ton of fun in the process.  In your box you’re getting 3 ceramic potted succulents (artificial), a full roll of Cricut  Premium Permanent Vinyl, Full roll of Cricut Transfer Tape, 3 tubes of paint & packages of brushes.

Traveling to get a card hasn’t been the easiest over the past year, and never have we wanted to reach out to our loved ones so much!

Together we will be making 6 cards to help you build up your card stash. We will be using the cricut joy for this class, and Cricut Joy insert cards to give your work a layered looked.

Everyone who signs up will also be making two extra cards that we will be donating to one of our favourite charities, Crafting for a Cure. Together we are going to make this sleek clutch. In this class we will be using the CRICUT MAKER to cut all the fabric for your purse. It’s amazing how much more precise cutting fabric is with the Cricut Maker.  We have selected some beautiful fabric that will take this clutch from everyday to a night on the town.  We will also help you brush up on a bit of sewing skills and even show you how to add a zipper. This class is for everyone, but if you have young ones at home they will love being included in your Cricut crafty weekend!  

This class is taught by kids, who will be showing you how to easily turn your hand drawn picture into a t-shirt! The 30-pack of infusible ink pens alone makes it worth taking the class. But having such a special memento is priceless.  We love the Cricut Heat Press for this class, but a basic iron will work too, you’ll need to supply one of the two, the rest is in your box!!  In your box you’ll be getting a 30-pk Cricut Infusible Ink Markers 1.0,  two Cricut Youth L Shirts, Transfer Paper & an extra sweet treat!

HomeMade; A Virtual Event with Cricut is a weekend long and crafting extravaganza.  There are classes, workshops, giveways, a chance to learn and craft with fellow Cricut lovers no matter where you are in the world or what your Cricut skill level.  

Beginners will love the step by step instructions the chance to ask questions to your Cricut experts LIVE.   Even Cricut experts will pick up a tip or two! Everyone will LOVE the big box of  supplies & goodies we’re going to send you so you can complete all of the projects. The box is valued at $575, we’ve done our best to pack it full of amazing Cricut materials & craft supplies and some bonus goodies too!

After you register, each participant will be entered into our Virtual Cricut Classroom, a private group on Facebook. This space will allow us to congregate before the event,  take the classes together, post our makes and share our stories! It’s a whole new way to come together. (and be productive too!)


We’re sending you everything BUT your Cricut for this event! (oh how I wish we could send out all new machines! (pssssst – Registrants WILL be getting an exclusive coupon code to Cricut.com to use after registration if they want….just sayin’!)

Please note, some of the ADD-ON Classes may require a specialized machine like the Cricut Maker (for making the clutch from fabric) or the Cricut Joy. Please be sure you have the machine required for the ADD-ON Class.

Your box of supplies is valued at $575 and will be delivered to you via courier approximately 4 weeks prior to the event. Once all boxes have been delivered we will schedule a LIVE box opening.  If you want to peek early you can or join your fellow sewers around the world and dive into your box together LIVE with Jen as she unpacks all the goodies with you!


ALL class videos will be streamed on YouTube with the instructor live  throughout the class—for an interactive, one-on-one experience all from the safety & privacy of your own home.

Each class will be approximately 90-120 minutes in length. Classes roll out live, but you’re free to go at your own pace with no pressure to finish within the class time.   You’ll have access to the video class for 1-year. So no rush! Press pause, take your time and complete the projects at your own pace. Your choice.

The 5 main classes will run between Friday Sept 24 & 25 2021. The Add-On Classes will round out the whole weekend, and run all day Sunday Sept 26th.

All classes are available for 1 full year.

The full schedule will be released in September.


Event Cost

The cost of this event is $249CAD. USD will be automatically reduced at checkout.    Your kit includes more than $575 in supplies. New mats, blades, full rolls of all materials, and lots of bonus crafting goodies, even a sweet treat!

There is a $29 shipping fee (shipping within North America) and any applicable taxes. If international shipping is required please contact info@homemade.ca and we’ll get you our best quote!

Ma carrière, au sein d’un réseau de nouvelles en tant que correspondante qui voyageait constamment avec un projet créatif dans ses bagages pour préserver sa santé mentale, vient de se transformer en travail à temps plein avec contrat de bricolage à la télévision.  Maintenant je fais des projets créatifs sur la chaîne HSN aux EU et sur TSC au Canada et je suis constamment en train de diffuser en direct de mes studios de creacollage et de couture.

Je suis marié à un super-héro nommé Mike et j’ai 3 enfants adorables: Une fille de 10 ans et un couple de jumeaux fille et garçon de 8 ans.  j’essaye toujours de produire tous ces beaux projets qui nous garde éveillé la nuit, qu’on veut admirer, épingler et partager en ligne.  J’espère que vous serez inspiré d’essayer une vie de création faite maison (Home Made) aussi.
