The HomeMade Pet Parade was a huge HIT! Thank you to all of the doggies and Bessie the cat for modelling their HomeMade accessories, and raising money and food for the Humane Society!

If you’d like to make some Pet Accessories too click below for a list of FREE Patterns! We are collecting HomeMade pet collars, bandanas or bow ties to donate them to the Humane Society so pets awaiting adoption can look their best!

Meet the Team

Hi I’m Jen, by now you know I love making things. All things. Sewing, paper crafting, DIY, lettering, cooking, cake decorating. This is a long way from my old life as a network news correspondent. I spent 20 years as a television news reporting, covering some of the most important moments in recent history. But nothing felt as good as making. So my two worlds have merged. I regular appear as the DIY expert on Global TV’s The Morning Show, create during Craft & Sewing events on TSC in Canada and HSN in the US. I live in Toronto, Canada with my husband and three kids. Who, love things, not made by me bought at the store. (Sigh).

I started HomeMade alone but it’s grown to include some amazing women who love the feeling of HomeMade too.
