FROZEN Party!

 In Cakes

If you’ve been following me this week, you’re either sick to death of the Frozen party or you’re dying to see how it turned out.  If you’re the former, log off now. If you’re the latter… Ta-da!

Frozen Party. Homemade Frozen Invitations, Homemade Elsa Costumes, Elsa Cake.

The party started at noon, which was precisely the time I stepped in for a 1-minute shower. I literally used every spare minute prior to the party getting ready.
Thankfully I finished the cake the night before.

The Frozen cake was a hit!

Tri-Colour cake. Pretty right?

The ice surface is a very basic homemade hard candy. Just boil sugar, water, clear corn syrup, vanilla and blue food colouring.

But an even bigger hit the treats…was Elsa!

Elsa Birthday Party

Elsa Birthday Party

Elsa read her story to everyone.

I wasn’t overly thrilled that one of the main Elsa activities was make up, but at this point we’re in pretty deep into princess mode, may as well go all the way.
The kids loved it.

Girls loved Elsa. Some of the boys liked her too. The little brother stayed back.

Cousins. Both with homemade Elsa dresses.

Special thanks to Posh Tart Parties for the Do You Want To Build a Snowman template. They made great loot bags.

Do you Want to build a snowman? treat bags.

Now I’m going to “let it go.”
