What have I agreed to!??
In one week’s time, some nice lady holding a stop watch is going to sit me down in front of a sewing machine, in the middle of the Toronto Convention Centre and hand me a basket full of mystery sewing supplies. Then she’s going to shout “GO!”Â
GAH! What have I gotten myself into?!  Actually, I’ve gotten myself into the Canada Sews Mystery Basket Sewing Challenge at this year’s  CreativFestival.  I have no idea what I’m going to have to make, but I know I’m supposed to use all the items in the basket.

The advantage I think, that is going to make me a winner, is I won’t be sewing with a child on my lap.  Sometimes multiple children on my lap. It’s like those runners who train while wearing weights, then suddenly take them off before the big race and go flying through the finish line. That’s going to be me!
