How to Make Shorts!
Let’s Make our own Shorts!
Confession, I haven’t made shorts for myself yet. My process for clothing is make stuff for the kids, and if you get good enough at doing it then make some for yourself. (vanity…right?!)
But these School’s Out Shorts from Peek-a-Boo Patterns couldn’t have been easier or cuter. They worked for both my daughters and son. I used double fold stretch elastic for the trim so they’re nice and stretchy.
I’ve also been making loads of T-Shirts. Check it out here.
So now you’re all set to use up your fabric and sharpen your sewing skills too!
YAY!
Both the Shorts and the T-Shirt took about an hour each to make and I know I’ll cringe at the thought of buy kids shorts again.
Happy Sewing!

(REPLAY)Hey Jennifer, love the ideas of sewing shorts and tshirts. My grandson is growing so fast it would be more economical for me to see him up a few pairs to finish out the season. I am from Nebraska and been a fan of yours for while. Miss seeing you on HSH, but I am keeping up with your blog, instagram, facebook. You inspire me to let my creative side take over.
