Project Update: Outdoor Vinyl Carpet With Cricut

If you have been following my blog or my social media, then you may know that back in June, I create a custom outdoor vinyl carpet using my Cricut Maker 3!

This project was so much fun to make, and the final result (I thought) was pretty amazing!

I was happy to see that many of you like the project as well, and some of you wanted an update to see how the vinyl carpet was holding up. So, today, I thought I would share an update on the project.

Update on Outdoor Vinyl Carpet with Cricut:

As of August 2021, the vinyl carpet is still in excellent condition! The vinyl carpet has been holding up great through both the summer heat and the foot traffic of both kids and dogs.

Along with the summer heat, the vinyl carpet has also been holding up great through the rain. Many of you asked about the rain specifically, so below are some photos of the vinyl carpet in the rain, and here is a video of the vinyl carpet while it was raining.

Finally, the vinyl itself has not pealed, torn, or bubbled in any way!

So, that is your vinyl carpet update for August! I will keep you guys posted on any changes and will possibly write another update post during the winter months.
